Happiness is a Decision
The night my son died I made the decision to make something positive out of that tragic loss. The winding road that lead me to make that decision and to make my life what it is now, is the subject of this talk.
Guest speaker: Vittoria Pasquini was a political activist in the ’70 during the students protests in Rome, a co-editor of the feminist magazine ‘Zizzania’, worked as a freelance urban landscape photographer while traveling extensively and then living in Nairobi, New York and Algiers. Since 1989 she is teaching Italian and Culture in Sydney and at the ANU in Canberra. Currently she promotes the ‘Valerio Daniel De Simoni Association’ that she founded in memory of her beloved son, who was tragically killed in an accident in Malawi in 2011.
